key responsibilities Ensure proper functioning of all electrical units in the facility & all scheduled checks are done Run conduit, wiring, hook-up disconnects, switches, push buttons, circuit panels, breakers, suppressors, transformers, motor starters, relays, timers and motors Maintain plant P.L.C. 's which are primarily Allen Bradley(modify and write programs, download, upload), sensors, network (LAN), phone lines Diagnose motor conditions; Replace gear motors Maintain proper lighting throughout plant which includes changing bulbs, fixtures and ballast Troubleshoot electrical problems in all departments Available for call-out in cases of emergencies and breakdowns qualifications Proficient in mathematics and electrical calculations (amps, voltage, resistance, capacitance) Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Familiar with lean manufacturing and electrical repair tools-Skilled in identifying technical malfunctions in electrical systems Flexible with rotating shifts Experienced in Aerial Lift & Forklift operation Associate Degree in Electrical or equivalent technical certification 3+ years industrial electrical experience with working knowledge of N.E.C. codes PLC maintenance (Allen Bradley, SLC-5/04, ControlLogix, RSLogix, RSLinx) education
