This position reports to

Product Marketing Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will define, plan and ensure implementation of product marketing strategies for Smart Power, NEMA portfolio (panelboards) Canada, meeting business targets and aligning with global product strategy. You will oversee all sales and marketing activities and events to drive sales and increase market share for NEMA low voltage panelboards. •\tDeveloping and executing the annual marketing plan with regional and national sales leaders, focusing on business development in various Canadian Regions.•\tCoordinating market studies with the Product Marketing and Sales team, defining appropriate forecasts and business/marketing plans for panelboards reviews of marketing activities and implementation of improvement plans to achieve business targets.•\tEvaluating and disseminating customer research, market conditions and studies of competitors.•\tMaintaining relevant and competitive product offering by driving the product roadmap, and ensuring new product introductions are initiated and delivered on time.•\tDelivering product information, providing training (technical and sales) for the various stakeholders, and driving sales efficiency.

Qualifications for the role

5+ years of experience in product management of NEMA low voltage distribution panelboards.Bachelor degree in Engineering.Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy for NEMA panelboards.Knowledge and experience of Canada market, channel to market, launch strategies.Knowledge and experience of the Canadian Electric Code and relevant product standards.A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills, as well as relationship-building skills.English and/or French. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
