Job Description
We are currently looking for an Electro-Mechanic to join our team in Hawkesbury, Ontario. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems within our facility. This includes working with industrial equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and ensuring minimal downtime in our manufacturing operations.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.Troubleshoot and repair issues in equipment such as motors, conveyors, pumps, and control systems.PLC Programming and Troubleshooting:
Diagnose, maintain, and program PLCs and other automation systems.Equipment Upgrades and Installation:
Assist with the installation of new machinery and equipment.Perform system upgrades and modifications as needed.Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.Participate in safety meetings and adhere to lockout/tagout procedures.Documentation and Reporting:

Education & Experience: Diploma or certification in Electromechanics with [5] years of industrial maintenance experience.
Technical Skills: Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), and proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and schematics.
Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Maintenance management, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience with equipment, facility and BAS validation, operation and maintenance
