**Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Electro-Mechanical Assembler with at least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position located in Plano, TX. The role is full-time, with first shift hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This position offers an hourly rate of $16-18 with potential for pay increases based on performance. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, mechanically skilled, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. **Responsibilities** + Read and understand assembly drawings + Assemble and build mail automation equipment + Wire/Cable assembly + Use both hand and power tools to assemble equipment + Work independently and within a team depending on the project **Essential Skills** + Ability to read assembly drawings + Recognize parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, gears + Identify hardware like screws, bolts, nuts, washers, snap rings + Experience using both hand and power tools **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must lift 40 pounds throughout the day + Stand all day + Strong mechanical aptitude and production experience **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a climate-controlled work environment in a new, modern facility.
