Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/. JOB SUMMARY Assemble components, subassemblies and finished electromechanical products using documented procedures and specifications. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: + Train lower-level assembly personnel. + Assist lower-level assembly personnel in diagnosing and resolving technical problems. + Assemble and diagnose first time builds and design units with manufacturing engineering guidance. + Organized and maintain work orders as they are received from the stockroom. + Keep track of the scheduling system and dispense work that are expedites while balancing own workload. + Following up on calibration equipment, materials and performing audits as required. + Sustain accountability of tooling kits, workstations and keeping track of inventory issues. + Assemble and solder components, sub-assemblies, and finished products of moderate complexity as prescribed by drawings and/or procedures. + Conduct tests of assembled electromechanical products as prescribed by drawings and/or procedures. + Document results of assembly and/or test operations on data sheets and manufacturing records. + Diagnose, correct, and verify product originally not meeting specifications. + Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. + Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance. + Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer. + Performs other related duties as required. **Qualifications** EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION* + High school diploma or GED and 4 to 6 years related experience in electromechanical assembly. + Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and procedures. + Ability to provide detailed documentation of work results. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS* + Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and computing rate, ratio, and percent. + Familiarity with GD&T practices. + Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive and results-oriented approach. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
