Description:

You will be an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) in Orlando, FL. Our team is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, and you will be responsible for designing and developing electro-mechanical systems for advanced programs.

What You Will Be Doing
As an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electro-mechanical systems, including printed wiring boards, circuit/electronic card assemblies, harness assemblies, and sub-assemblies. You will also be responsible for packaging design updates, design documentation processing, and creating analytical models to guide product development.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing electro-mechanical systems for advanced programs, special programs, and IRAD programs
• Creating and correlating analytical models to provide guidance for product development
• Interfacing with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, systems, planning, program management, production operations, and mechanical engineering
• Researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment
• Having existing CREO experience and using it to design and develop electro-mechanical systems

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Proficient in CREO modeling
Proficient with CCA/PWB, Cable/harness design and development, electronic packaging design
Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills:
Zuken E3 experience
Windchill experience
Experience with Military defense hardware
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
