Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Tech

Our Noblesville, Indiana manufacturing facility has an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Tech role open on 1st shift, Monday – Thursday , 6am-4:40pm, with overtime required based on business needs.

Position Description:

·         Maintenance of electrical distribution throughout facility including 110V, 220V, and 480V systems.

·         Maintenance of switchgear and power breakers.

·         Properly sizing and installing power feeds to machinery. Installation of Transformers and distribution panels for 110V and 220V service.

·         Running conduit for power distribution.  Installing buss plugs.

·         Verifying that existing electrical systems meet code and that new systems are installed per code

·         Installation of 277V plant lighting systems.

·         Maintaining plant fire protection alarms system, access control hardware, and building automation systems.

·         Support assembly line in general and preventative maintenance as required.

·         Installation and maintenance of electrical safety lock out devices.

·         Maintenance of production equipment.  Electrical troubleshooting and repair of control circuits.

·         Perform preventative maintenance including basic PMs – change air filters – oil and grease machine lubrication points

·         Mechanical troubleshooting

·         Repair manufacturing equipment

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

·         Knowledge of NEC and other applicable codes and regulations for this area.

·         Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

·         Experience with industrial power installation.

 

·         Knowledge of/experience working on Pneumatic and hydraulic preferred.

·         PLC experience a plus, preferably Allen Bradley.

·         Automated systems experience a plus.

·         Experience with Silent Knight fire alarm systems a plus.

·         Good skills in the following competencies: Leadership, Team Player, Planning & Organizing, Judgment/Decision Making, Communication, Project Management

 

Education/Experience:

·         High School Diploma or GED Required

·         Journeyman Status Strongly Preferred or willingness to obtain.

·         5 yrs. Industrial Electrician experience required.   

Compensation range: $32.67- $38.77
