Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician





Maintenance Electro-Mechanical Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 – 3:30
Salary: $25-$35/hour


Key Responsibilities:
  Inspect electrical wiring, panels, and components for issues Troubleshoot electromechanical systems: laminators, slitters, ect. Troubleshoot motor drives, relays, contactors, transformers, circuit breakers, wiring, ect. with and without wiring diagrams/electrical schematics Perform electromechanical repairs and adjustments on equipment including: motors, pumps, cranes, pneumatic and hydraulic motion systems, ect. Communicate with other employees regarding the status of different machinery and report problems/concerns to Maintenance Manager Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of production equipment, including preventative maintenance Install and disassemble machinery Follow LOTO rules and shop safety procedures
Job Qualifications: Comfortable reading electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints/drawings Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to use a multimeter Ability to work unsupervised Attention to detail and good organizational skills Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of electrical systems in an industrial setting. Candidates must have their own basic hand tools. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Formal technical training at a secondary school, a technical school, or a community college Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required to meet plant maintenance requirements. Able to lift, pull and push 50 pounds, walk, and stand for long periods of time, and work from a ladder. Perform work in a safe manner following all company safety policies and procedures. Prompt and regular attendance required.
