Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Electro- Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing timely repairs of equipment to ensure production runs smoothly and meets customer service expectations. You will execute tasks in a cost-effective manner, ensuring all work is professional, clean, neat, and safe. You will also keep supervision updated on your progress. Your role will include plant maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical (low & high voltage), mechanical work, painting, and cleaning. You will work on the repair, maintenance, and installation of industrial and mechanical processes, electrical processes, and HVAC systems. You will also be involved in new projects, preparing areas for new processes and equipment, and coordinating third-party contractor activities. **Responsibilities** + Perform timely repair of equipment to keep production running. + Coordinate activities to ensure work is professional, clean, neat, and safe. + Conduct plant maintenance including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, and cleaning. + Repair, maintain, and install industrial processes like spray driers, powders blenders, pumps, distillation equipment, mixers, motors, and material handling equipment. + Repair, maintain, and install mechanical processes like exhaust fans, motors, boilers, water filtration, air compressors, hot water heaters. + Repair, maintain, and install electrical processes like VFDs, PLCs, relays, starters, and low voltage controls. + Utilize CMMS to monitor, schedule, and document all preventative and reactive repair work orders. + Use BMS system to ensure all HVAC & mechanical equipment is running at peak performance. + Maintain boilers and comply with inspection requirements. + Work on new projects, prepare areas for new processes and equipment, and participate in project testing. + Assist in coordinating third-party contractor activities, including repairs and scheduled maintenance. + Support and participate in Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices training. + Demonstrate teamwork and a customer-focused attitude. + Participate in audits upon request. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical ability to work with motors, gear boxes, conveyors. + Electrical experience using a wire diagram to troubleshoot a machine. + Low and high voltage experience. + Experience working with control panels. + Plumbing experience including soldering pipe and running PVC. + Experience with pumps. + Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs. + Ability to climb ladders and work in confined areas. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a rich 100-year history and family-owned values. Benefits such as flexible spending programs, life and disability insurance will begin after completion of three months of service. Initial vacation entitlement will be two weeks per year.
