The Electro-Mechanical Technician / Maintenance Technician III is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment, while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDP’s high standards in safety and quality.

What you will do:
Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix).Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical and control failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.Document software configurations, updates, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and regulatory complianceConfigure and troubleshoot HMIs, including replication of codingComplete size changeovers and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.Wire moderately complex control circuits.Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and center lining.Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.Maintain and update software systems related to equipment control and automation, ensuring compatibility and functionalityCollaborate with site Automation Controls Engineers to implement software updates, patches, and enhancements to optimize system performanceProvide technical support and training to operators and maintenance staff on software usage and troubleshooting proceduresWork with production leadership to implement capital and productivity projectsAbility to quickly learn to weld and machine metals, plastics, and composites.Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.Demonstrate KDP values of Team First, Deliver Big, Think Bold, Being Fearless and Fair. Ability to competently use and understand precision testing and diagnostic equipment. Safety conscious and can perform in an emergency setting.Computer knowledge of Microsoft applications and PeopleSoft.Knowledge of inventory control systems.Flexible, self-motivated team player with the ability to follow direction and at times work independently.Ability to lift to 100 pounds on a frequent basis.Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions.Ability to spend significant time standing on the manufacturing floor with some frequency of computer workAnalyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.Wire moderately complex control circuits.Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.Machine/Weld most metals, plastics, and composites.Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.Identify problems and completes repairs, with minimal downtime or supervision.Diagnose, plan, & perform all operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, & dismantle various types of complex manufacturing & support equipment with special focus on advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, & PLCs on complex high speed packaging linesMaintain safe, clean, & well-organized work areasComply with regulatory, Keurig Dr Pepper, & departmental policies, procedures, & standards (especially safety)Assist other maintenance technicians as priorities dictate, time allows, or directed.Identify opportunities for maintenance or process improvement & drive recommendations to implement a resolutionComplete or assist with special projects as directedCompany Overview
