Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Technician who adheres to safety, food safety, quality, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will perform all tasks in accordance with environmental, health, and safety standards, rules, regulations, and practices of the facility. You will use a variety of test equipment, machines, hand tools, and computer-aided equipment to repair and maintain high-speed packaging equipment, dismantle and assemble multiple brands of mechanical and electrical equipment, and repair and replace defective parts. A solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment is essential.

ResponsibilitiesAdhere to safety, food safety, quality, and legal compliance.Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health, and safety standards, rules, regulations, and practices of the facility.Use a variety of test equipment, machines, hand tools, and computer-aided equipment.Repair and maintain high-speed packaging equipment.Dismantle and assemble multiple brands of mechanical and electrical equipment.Repair and replace defective parts.Maintain knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Essential SkillsExperience with maintenance, mechanic, and maintenance mechanic roles.Food industry experience.PLC troubleshooting.Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Previous experience with PLC, electrical controls, motor circuits, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, refrigeration, TIG, and stick welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You must be able to work in both shop and production environments. Expect to constantly work in damp, wet, humid, and slippery conditions, and frequently be near moving equipment. You will also work in areas with fumes or airborne debris and in extreme heat or cold.

This is a Permanent position based out of City Of Industry, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00
