Job Duties and Qualifications
Responsibilities:
• Independently solves routine and some moderately complex problems using pre-established guidelines and plans and carries out moderately complex analytical processes.
• Typically, has demonstrated skills in more than one process or analytical procedure.
• Works under general to occasional supervision over work product or procedure with continued direct supervision over new tasks or processes.
• May perform a whole test routine or process.
• May assist in recommending design or modification of analytical processes, equipment, or procedures.
• Downhole electronics board troubleshooting and repair, high temp soldering,
• Mechanical tool assembly and disassembly
• Pressure/temperature gauge verification and calibration
• Inventory control
• May require travel.
Requirements:
• Skills typically acquired through 2-3 years working in a technician capacity or through formal training equivalent to an associate's degree.
Candidates who possess qualifications exceeding the minimum job requirements will be considered for higher-level positions based on their experience, additional job requirements, and current business needs. Depending on their education, experience, and skill level, candidates may be eligible for a range of job opportunities, including positions ranging from Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician, Principal Electro-Mechanical Technician to Chief Electro-Mechanical Technician.
