To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: https://vimeo.com/732533072 Summary HII, Mission Technologies has a need for an Electromagnetic Spectrum Education and Training Assistant who will spearhead the development and oversight of a comprehensive training program focused on electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) awareness within the Department of Defense. Essential Job Responsibilities + Lead the design, development, and implementation of an Electromagnetic Spectrum Awareness Course that meets the training needs of DoD personnel. Ensure the curriculum is current, relevant, and aligned with evolving operational requirements and technological advancements. + Collaborate with key stakeholders across the DoD, including military branches, intelligence agencies, and related organizations, to gather input and ensure the course content meets operational needs. + Establish metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of the course and continuously assess and improve the curriculum based on feedback and emerging EMS challenges. + Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, utilizing a variety of instructional methods to engage participants and enhance learning. Gather feedback from course pilot to refine prior to launching. + Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines related to EMS operations and training, ensuring alignment with national security objectives. + Identify skill gaps within the electromagnetic spectrum workforce and develop targeted training initiatives to address these gaps, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. + Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in EMS and related fields. Conduct research to inform course content and training methodologies. Leverage brown bag lunch briefing sessions to assess opportunities for growth. + Prepare and present reports on course effectiveness, workforce development initiatives, and other relevant findings to senior leadership and stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications + 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + High level of comfort presenting to groups consisting of all levels of personnel. + Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. + Must have availability to work onsite. Physical Requirements + May require working in an industrial and/or office environment. + Capable of climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
