The Electromechanical Assembler is a dedicated and meticulous team member who places a strong emphasis on quality control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electro-mechanical components and systems while ensuring that all products adhere to our rigorous quality standards.

Please note: You will be sent to be trained in our office in Hollister, California for 2-4 weeks upon hire. Upon completion of your training you will be working in Brooklyn, New York. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities 

Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and systems according to detailed specifications and instructions.Basic soldering; through-hole solderingRead and interpret schematics, drawings and prints to assemble and install electrical wiring, cabling, and other mechanical or electrical componentsEnsure all work is completed on time and within scheduled targetsInspect, maintain, troubleshoot and install electrical components such as modified cabling, PCB’s, Performance Motion DevicesCreate and update BOM’s and assembly manualsMaintaining 5S standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Good mechanical skills and attention to detailProficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesCreative and self-motivatedGood communication and interpersonal skills.Structured Cabling Experience Hand DexterityAbility to organize efficiently Basic computer skills, including knowledge of quality control software and MS Office. 

Education and Experience

High School diploma or GEDAt least 3 years of experience in professional electrical and mechanical assembly
