Summary: Seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to construct gradient power systems and perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks using hand tools and equipment.
Job Requirements:
High school or equivalent education
4+ years of related experience
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints
Skilled in using common hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
Preferred Skills:
Experience with both automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment
Knowledge of soldering techniques for parts as a secondary operation (non SMT)
Familiarity with Agile for checking document revisions against BOM or assembly drawings
Job Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical assembly of medium complexity items using basic procedures, tools, and fasteners
Prepare for assembly by cutting wire to size, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts; wiring; fastening terminal connections
Assemble/install various electrical/electronic components based on blueprints, wire lists, diagrams or established practices
Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment when necessary
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbsAdditional Information:
Position is for a 9/80 work schedule including every other Friday off
