Electromechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components and sub-assemblies from individual parts, performing surface-mount and through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards, and integrating electrical and mechanical assemblies.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints for assembly tasks.Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies from individual parts.Complete necessary paperwork for assembly orders.Follow all company procedures and quality standards.Perform surface-mount and through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards.Trim, clip, crimp, and tin wires and leads.Properly label finished products.Fabricate, test, and troubleshoot electrical cables, harnesses, and electronic components for high-reliability integration.Build harnesses and cables.Assemble, fabricate, and inspect complex box builds.Integrate electrical and mechanical assemblies.Install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools.Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder, and clean components on printed circuit boards.Replace defective components and repair or overhaul older assemblies.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in surface-mount and through-hole soldering.Experience with trimming, clipping, crimping, and tinning wires and leads.Skill in fabricating, testing, and troubleshooting electrical cables, harnesses, and electronic components.Ability to assemble, fabricate, and inspect complex box builds.Competence in integrating electrical and mechanical assemblies.Proficiency in using hand and small power tools.Experience with operating automatic and semi-automatic machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of ITAR regulations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a very clean manufacturing setting where you will use various technologies and equipment, including hand tools, small power tools, and automatic and semi-automatic machines. The standard work hours are from 7am to 3:30pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lake Forest, California.
