Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking an electromechanical assembler to assist in building large transformers. This role involves wiring, installing circuit breakers, contactors, sheet metal, and circuit boards. The ideal candidate should be familiar with wiring larger cables (2 AWG) and capable of lifting approximately 25 lbs with assistance from a harness.

$18/hr

6am to 2:30pm

ResponsibilitiesInterpret work assignments, directions, instructions, and the Work Order Schedule provided by the Production Lead.Familiarity with wire gauges (AWG).Knowledge of terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harness fabrication.Review Assembly Instructions, Engineering Drawings, or Notes on the BOM (Bill of Materials) where available.Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses.Assemble electronics subassemblies to install harnesses.Maintain a safe and organized work area/room/station.Ensure efficiency requirements and quality standards are consistently met.Follow Safety requirements and all Safety policies.Determine job order requirements by following Production priorities.Essential SkillsExperience with crimping and wiring.Familiarity with hand tools.Knowledge of mechanical assembly and electro-mechanical wiring.Experience with circuit breakers and blueprints.Ability to solder.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with soldering is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes using hand tools, soldering equipment, and working with large cables. The facility emphasizes safety and organization, and provides a harness to assist with lifting tasks. Regular adherence to safety policies is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
