**Job Description:** + We are looking for Associate Test Engineers for various positions in manufacturing who will be involved with the testing of new technologies such as optics/opto-mechanical, assembly. **Responsibilities:** + Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at system level. + Determine and may develop methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. + Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, and complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. + Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. + Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. + Perform ongoing daily work with minimal instruction, and with general instructions on newly introduced assignments. + May provide work assignment direction and technical training to peer. **Experience:** + Working with larger mechanical components. + Optical alignment experience is a plus. + Automotive/mechanical assembly or similar hands-on experience. + Military experience (e.g., Navy electrical technicians). + Hobbyists or people skilled in building things (e.g., model making, robotics, mechanical engines) **Skills:** + Mechanical Components + Assembly **Education:** + A BSEE, BSEET or similar degree in an engineering discipline is strongly preferred **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
