A Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the electrical AND mechanical repair, and related preventative maintenance procedures, of all SFC machines and facility equipment.

Responsible to repair, troubleshoot, and maintain SFC facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ensures work is of highest standards and meets OSHA requirements. Records required preventive maintenance data and maintains required records, including process monitoring / measurement devices. Supports and implements SFC policies, work instructions, procedures, including the SFC Quality Management System (QMS) Adhere to all OSHA standards and regulations, such as; Lockout/Tagout, NFPA 70E, and Confined Space. Perform all other duties as directed by Plant Manager.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:

(If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)

May require a high school diploma or GED. 2+ years as an industrial electrician, and maintenance mechanic, or in the electrical and maintenance field. Able to use various hand tools and electrical test equipment. (Digital Multi-meter) Basic PC skills required to use a computerized maintenance management system. Ability to follow directions and specifications. Problem solving, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
