Electromechanical Technician
**Job Title: Electromechanical Technician** **Job Description** We have a total of four positions available in our Packaging Engineering Tech II department, covering each shift, and one Manufacturing Engineering Tech III position for the 3rd shift. The electromechanical technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing packaging machines, performing preventive maintenance, assisting in equipment setup, and troubleshooting various issues to minimize downtime. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment related to product packaging. + Repair and maintain packaging machines to minimize downtime. + Assist set-up mechanics during packaging machine setup, if necessary. + Install, test, and assist in the qualification of new equipment for packaging production and AR&D test batches. + Investigate and identify root causes of downtime and other issues leading to investigations. + Follow up on all CAPAs related to investigations. + Troubleshoot and repair all aspects of the packaging lines including PLCs, conveyor systems, and robotic automation. + Repair and change out sensors, 3-phase motors, belts, fuses, and bearings. + Wire panels and read schematics to troubleshoot non-automated equipment. **Essential Skills** + Experience as an electromechanical tech or multi-facet technician. + Experience in Pharma, Nutraceutical, or medical device industries. + Strong English communication skills. + Ability to read schematics. + PLC troubleshooting experience. + Hydraulics experience. + High school diploma or equivalent. + 3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual skills. + PLC programming experience. + 2-year associate degree in Math, Science, Technical, or Engineering discipline. + Prototype experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and innovative team where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and equipment.
