**Job Title: Electromechanical Technician**
**Job Description**
Acts as a process expert for this multi-functional craft dealing with electrical, electronic, and instrument specialist responsibilities. This includes reacting to process equipment issues, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and eliminating special cause variations while driving safety, quality, and optimizing plant efficiency.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe, accident-free work environment.
+ Assist in analyzing, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical equipment, instruments, controls, machinery, and systems.
+ Perform precision work utilizing machines, equipment, and measuring instruments.
+ Ensure availability of required items and inventory.
+ Utilize journeyman-level multi-functional electrical, electronic, and instrument skills along with light mechanical assembly to preserve and optimize plant assets.
+ Provide support and leadership to other craft and non-craft employees during maintenance tasks, especially during breakdown scenarios.
+ Plan and perform operational maintenance on machinery and equipment associated with plant operations.
+ Work from electrical diagrams, engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and written or verbal instructions to perform assigned duties.
+ Train production, apprentice, and other craft personnel in craft work, participate in training plans, and provide input for training records and certification status.
+ Act as a liaison to management, suppliers, and customers.
+ Assist with developmental and experimental projects.
+ Utilize computer expertise to complete records, reports, and manage data (including SAP, work orders, inventory, failure & trend analysis sheets, checklists, requisitions, and audit sheets).
+ Develop and maintain skills and knowledge through participation in formal and informal training.
+ Modify and update schematics and catalogs.
+ Maintain and calibrate Ph probes.
+ Perform lighting repairs such as lamp/ballast replacement, socket replacement, and wiring repair in shops and utility areas.
+ Conduct mechanical repairs on process equipment, including solenoid replacement, limit switch arm adjustments, proximity switch repairs, pushbutton repairs, and vertical pump rebuilds or replacements.

The work environment is industrial, with open availability required for the following shifts: Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Night Shift: 3 on, 3 off, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fairburn, Georgia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $83304.00 - $83304.00
Union Plant, great pay, incredible tenure, average employee has been there 20+ years. work life balance. 1 week vacation kicks in immediately after 90 day probationary period.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Fairburn,GA.
