Electromechanical Technician
**Job Title: Electromechanical Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to install, maintain, and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong skillset in electrical and mechanical systems and will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with engineering and production teams. **Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems. + Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to identify and address potential issues before they become critical. + Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency. + Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment specifications and configurations. + Perform regular testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. + Calibrate and adjust machinery components to maintain accuracy and efficiency. + Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts replaced, work performed, and equipment conditions, to maintain accurate records. + Collaborate with other technicians and departments to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical technology is preferred. + 5 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or a similar role. + Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and mechanical components. + Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, and hand tools effectively. + Experience with diagnosing PLC and HMI programming for control systems and VFDs. + Programming skills with ABB, Siemens, Automation Direct, Modicon, or Turck systems is a plus. + Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations in an industrial setting. + Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Familiarity with relevant software and computerized systems used in electro-mechanical maintenance is a plus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Pre-employment check and drug screening required. + Valid driver's license and clean driving record. + 50-75% travel required. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team that values collaboration and continuous improvement. The role involves working in a garage-type environment with 50-75% travel once hired in. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
