Electromechanical Technician

Job Overview

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Electromechanical professional to join our team in the Oil & Energy industry. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and organizing work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products following cost, quality, and quantity specifications. You will ensure that all customer orders meet requirements, delivery dates, as well as quality and cost specifications while enforcing procedures and requirements in line with Weatherford's policies and prioritizing the safety and performance of all employees.

 

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly of low complexity following established procedures. Know and understand Weatherford's Enterprise Excellence Process and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions Assemble equipment per engineered drawings or as instructed by others Inspect completed components for accuracy and functionality Maintain an orderly work area Properly maintain company-supplied tooling Aid in developing new procedures and improving existing procedures Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools May operate both stationery and moving overhead cranes Operates any equipment needed to perform the job

Mechanical aptitude Good verbal communication skills Basic computer skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English Must be able to read blueprints

 

Education

1-2 years of prior assembly or manufacturing experience is required.
