JOB SUMMARY
The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Team Lead performs both standard and specialty electroneurodiagnostic tests independently when ordered by a physician. The individual will perform patient care activities, gather the patient’s medical history, explain testing procedures, and prepare the patient for the procedures. The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist will monitor the patient during the diagnostic testing and report findings to the physician for further analysis. The individual will mentor and train junior Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists and Trainees to expand their skills and attain independence in performing electroneurodiagnostic tests. The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Team Lead acts as a role model by demonstrating excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Successful completion of the web-based Neurodiagnostic Technology program through the Institute of Health Sciences (IOHS) or graduate of an accredited electroneurodiagnostic program.
Preferred/Optional: Associate degree in neurodiagnostics.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Three years’ experience as an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist. Demonstrated leadership ability.
Preferred/Optional: Two years’ experience as an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist performing advanced specialty electroneurodiagnostic tests. Experience with business operations for electroneurodiagnostics such as budgeting, billing and ordering supplies.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) awarded by the American Heart Association within three months of hire. Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) Certification awarded by the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation and one or more of the following: Certification for Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM), Registration for Evoked Potentials (R. EP T), Certification for Long Term Monitoring (CLTM) or Certification for Autonomic Testing Professionals (CAP) awarded by the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation.
