Job Description
Our client located in Etobicoke that has been in business for more than 30 years is looking to hire an electronics assembler to join their team.
Location: Etobicoke (Browns Line/ Horner Ave)
Shift: Day full time contract to permanent
Salary: $20
Responsibilities:
Perform manual eutectic die attach. Wire and ribbon bond on small component solder and manually place components such as resistors, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits, wires, and other electronic parts to designated locations or printed circuit boards. Install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust components using hand and small power tools. Test tensile strength of bonded connections using testing equipment. Use air vac and soldering iron to manually repair electronic components. Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder and clen components on printed circuit boards. RequirementsSkills/Requirements
Experience in reading engineering drawings is an asset. Know military and industry quality standards. Familiar with ESD and clean room electronic industry practices. Excellent hand/eye coordination handling electronic components using microscopes. Must have ability to work with hand, small tools, and microscopes. Able to work effectively in a team environment. Able to use crimping tools for harness and cable assemblies. 2 years’ experience in electronics assembly.Education
Completion of High School
