Job Description:
As an Electronic Assembler, you will apply bonding and conformal coating materials to strengthen and protect circuit card assemblies and magnetic assemblies. You will be assigned your own bench where you will complete electronic assembly tasks such as reading blueprints and schematics, assembling products by hand, and soldering components like resistors, capacitors, transformers, and connectors onto printed circuit boards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, as quality is more important than speed.
Responsibilities:Mix adhesives and bond components and wires to circuit boards.Mix and apply conformal coatings to circuit card assemblies.Apply liquid, tape, and various masking aids to components and boards per work instructions.Perform specific functions such as bonding, potting, masking/demasking, spraying, touch-up, and coating re-work.Utilize required tools/equipment and follow proper handling procedures while moving components and boards throughout processes.Read BOMs and drawings to aid in bonding/coating processes.Read and follow work instructions and documented procedures to complete necessary work.Accurately manage time and perform labor transactions in ERP/MRP software.Interface with Engineers to problem solve or ask assembly questions.Maintain all paperwork, filing requirements, and supplies.Perform operator verification steps prior to moving to the next operation to ensure work meets all company quality standards.Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.Essential SkillsExperience with electronic assembly - 1 yearKnowledge of soldering, wiring, and assembly techniquesAbility to read blueprints and schematicsExperience with applying coatings to circuit boardsProficiency in using tools such as pulleys and bobbinsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a very clean, climate-controlled environment with only about four individuals in the department, creating a quiet and well-lit atmosphere. Cell phones are not allowed on the floor. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with part-time options available for up to 29 hours per week. Enjoy two 15-minute breaks and a half-hour lunch, with flexible break times. Casual dress is allowed, and safety glasses and ear protection are provided when needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
