Electronic Engineering Technician

Emerson is seeking a skilled and diligent Electronic Engineering Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for conducting non-repetitive engineering tests, evaluating electronic components, and solving complex systems. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Conduct non-repetitive engineering evaluation tests of electro/mechanical products. Evaluate electronic components related to the production process or the quality of final product parts and determine where there is a need for changes to the process Decipher sophisticated plans, drawings, diagrams, blueprints and instruction in order to complete installation or practice troubleshooting of electronic systems, parts, or wiring networks.  Record information and results about product or electronic performance by detailing testing methods, documenting possible issues and listing part specification Partner with mechanical or electrical engineers to fine tune the repair and diagnostic process in the work environment Diagnose and repair problems with malfunctioning circuitry networks, ineffective e4lectronic pieces, and missing or inoperative parts Maintain all equipment and components by performing scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring calibration of equipment and scheduling replacement when needed Collaborate with customers, team members, engineers or management to determine possible problems or update individuals with work progress

You apply knowledge of internal structures, processes, and culture to resourcing efforts. You use customer insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings. You focus on the highest priorities and set aside less critical tasks. 
   For This Role, You Will Need: Associates degree or some college coursework in electronics or engineering Previous lab experience or manufacturing experience in electronics can be substituted legal authorization to work in the united states - sponsorship will not be provided for this position
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Prior working knowledge of electric actuators Knowledge and abilities to use an oscilloscope, multi-meter, data logger, solder station strong manual dexterity
