Short Description
• Provides support to internal and external customers by efficiently performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing digital and PACS/RIS technology with the ultimate goal of accurate and efficient utilization of electronic/manual image and data storage, reporting and distribution methodologies.
• Is able to multitask, which includes: answering phones, greet and interact with staff for
obtaining studies in the radiology information system.
• Interacts with other departments and co-workers to coordinate activities, gather patient
information.
• Performs call-backs in a timely manner.
• Monitors workflow with the objective of expediting the patient importing and exporting of their images through our cloud-based imaging program
Experience Required
Experience in Health Care Clinical environment preferred but not required.
Experience using Hospital information Systems clinical programs desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of personal computer operating systems.
Education Requirements
HS diploma or equivalent
