Electronic Security System Engineer (Bosch)
We are looking for a Technical Security System Engineer to join the team immediately. This is supporting a government program all related to electronic security - specifically burglar panel and CCTV camera installation, service and maintenance for 445 sites across the nation. This is a Bosch environment for burg panels and Axis for cameras. Responsibilities:

1. Creating security equipment quotes and the SOW for new and existing customer offices;
2. Providing technical support to scheduled field technicians;
3. Remotely troubleshooting phone line and network issues that cause alarm system communication errors;
4. Remotely programming network interface cards for security panels to communicate over the Senate network;
5. Reviewing and presenting new equipment for review by the customer for inclusion in the security design;
6. Providing a Bill of Materials ("BOM") and Statement of Work ("SOW") based on final approved drawings;
7. Developing technical documents providing instruction to field personnel regarding the installation, operation, or maintenance of security components (wiring diagrams, block diagrams, schematic diagrams, step-by-step instructions, elevations, etc.);
8. Developing technical documents providing instruction to office staff regarding the use and operation of security systems and devices (user manuals, step-by-step instructions, training materials, etc.);
9. Constructing and maintaining custom demonstration devices for customer presentations;
10. Reviewing and bench testing of security system components; researching new products and best practices to ensure the program is current and providing the highest level, cost-effective solution, meeting, or exceeding industry standards;
11. Testing all returned equipment to ensure it is serviceable;
12. Performing any other tasks related to the scope of this Contract.
