Electronic Technician – Production

Job Summary:

FLIR Unmanned Aerial Systems, a subsidiary of Teledyne Flir, located in the greater Montreal area, is looking for dynamic and motivated candidates to fill an important position in its manufacturing team. This ISO 9001 FLIR facility designs, builds, and services advanced surveillance radar systems that are sold worldwide. Our radar systems are amongst the best performers and most reliable in the industry.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Overall day to day coordination and support with the responsibilities in specific areas listed below:

Inspect Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)

Conduct Acceptance Testing on PCBs

Performs simple soldering on PCB

Uses automatic test jigs to test PCB

Electrical and mechanical assembly

Enter SW configuration in product prior to ship

Monitor and schedule equipment for calibration

Participate in lean manufacturing implementation ( 5S and other projects)

Perform maintenance on equipment

Other duties as required

Job Qualifications:

College diploma in Electronics

2 year of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Experience in a small business environment is an asset

Bilingual- strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English language

Working knowledge of MS office ( Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
