**Job Title: Aircraft Electronic Technician**
**Job Description**
+ Provide engineering technical services to plan, design, modify, install, interface, test, evaluate, repair, and document the operation and performance of airborne test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and ground support equipment.
+ The role requires proficiency in analog and digital electronic fundamentals, the theory of solid-state devices, digital logic and techniques, RF modulation techniques, and an understanding of electromechanical drive mechanisms.
+ Advanced knowledge of electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, wire diagrams, block diagrams, and technical publications is essential to build prototype electronic assemblies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Select and operate test equipment such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, frequency meter, and logic probe to perform tasks like checkout, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair.
+ Fabricate cable harnesses, populate electronic assemblies, solder, crimp, and wire terminations to interface equipment to sensors, data acquisition units, and test equipment.
+ Work with thermocouples, temperature reference junctions, accelerometers, charge amplifiers, pressure transducers, strain gauges, piezoelectric transducers, flow meters, transmitters, and signal conditioners.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits to the component level.
+ Upload and download instrumentation pods to/from aircraft.
+ Provide hands-on electrical, instrumentation, and avionics maintenance on aircraft.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in analog and digital electronic fundamentals.
+ Advanced working knowledge of electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, wire diagrams, block diagrams, and technical publications.
+ Experience in fabricating cables harnesses, soldering, crimping, and wire terminations.
+ Proficiency in the selection and operation of test equipment.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits to the component level.
+ Hands-on experience in electrical, instrumentation, and avionics maintenance on aircraft is highly desired.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or technical school with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory or a military equivalent is required.
+ ISCET certification may be required.
+ Comprehensive knowledge in general electronics and expertise in electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems.
+ Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and high-power RF devices may be required.
+ At least 4 years of hands-on experience.
+ Expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities.
+ Must qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

**Work Environment**
+ Work in a field environment that includes shift work, overtime, and travel to remote locations.
+ Expect frequent exposure to weather and temperature extremes, drafts, noise, and dust. Positions are available for both 1st Shift (6/7am start, 8+ hours, Mon-Fri) and 2nd Shift (2/3pm start, 8+ hours, Mon-Fri).
+ Work on the Flight Line and in the Back Shop.
+ Flight Line experience is a huge plus.
+ Group 1 involves longer project lengths on the same aircraft (6 months to 1 year) including wire routing & terminations, LRU install, and pre & post-flight work upon completion of modification.
+ Group 2 offers a faster-paced environment with a larger workload, good for candidates who like to stay active & busy, working on experimental equipment and conducting pre & post-flight work/troubleshooting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of EDWARDS, California
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
401k, medical, dental , vision, and profit sharing. They will hire directly. They do direct hire and will have them start in Mojave but train in vegas for two weeks
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in EDWARDS,CA.
