Job Description - Low Voltage electrical, working with automated electronic door systems. All skill sets welcome. We are willing to train to our specific requirements for this position

As a PSG/ATC Technician, you will perform routine, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, lubrication, and proper maintenance on assigned PSG (Platform Screen Gates) equipment. You will work with wiring diagrams, schematics, and operations and maintenance manuals to ensure all tasks are carried out effectively. Observing PSG system components and devices in operation to detect potential failures and locating the causes of malfunctions will be part of your responsibilities. You will respond to PSG malfunctions, complete repairs, use electronic test equipment, and other specialized tools as required. Additionally, you will complete assigned operational, equipment failure, safety, and other reports as necessary, participate in training programs, and comply with safety rules and procedures. Flexibility and efficiency, including shift rotation, weekends, and holiday work, are required.

ResponsibilitiesPerform routine, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance on PSG equipment.Inspect, adjust, test, clean, lubricate, and maintain PSG systems according to manuals.Observe PSG components in operation to detect potential failures and locate malfunctions.Respond to PSG malfunctions and complete repairs as assigned.Use electronic test equipment and specialized tools for maintenance tasks.Complete operational, equipment failure, safety, and other reports as required.Participate in training programs as needed.Comply with Safety Rules, Operating Rulebook, and first-aid procedures.Work in close proximity to the third rail and frequently request Red Tag, LOTOs, and hot stick application.Ensure execution of assigned maintenance reports and inspection tasks.Record and document maintenance and diagnostic data.Support in performing substation fault diagnosis, inspection, testing, modification, maintenance, and repair.Maintain and produce accurate maintenance records using a computerized management system.Ensure corrective and preventative maintenance tasks are executed in compliance with safety policies and local regulations.Drive work vehicles when responding to emergencies and when required on duty.Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are calibrated and in good condition.Perform simple failure analysis and technical investigations.Execute additional job duties on unrelated systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems according to training and qualifications.Essential SkillsExperience in electrical systems.Strong troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of preventive maintenance.Ability to work with wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance manuals.Additional Skills & QualificationsPSG Technician qualification.Experience with electronic test equipment and specialized tools.Work Environment

This role requires flexibility with shift rotations, including weekends and holidays typical of major infrastructure projects and operating transit systems. Work is conducted in close proximity to the third rail, requiring frequent requests for Red Tag, LOTOs, and hot stick applications. You will use a variety of maintenance tools and equipment, which must be kept in good condition and calibrated. The work environment is safety-focused, and adherence to safety rules and procedures is mandatory.
