NFETC employs a variety of entry level to leadership positions including food service, maintenance, direct care, nurses, counselors, rehab therapists, medical doctors, security, psychiatrists, and psychologists. This is a highly responsible and professional position that will serve as an Electronic Technician II. T his position will collaborate with each section within the state facilities and be required to use independent judgement, take initiative in carrying out duties and responsibilities and should be extraordinarily detail oriented. Specific Duties and Responsibilities include: + Locate and make all necessary repairs on power failures (high and low voltage) circuits. Examples: wire pulling, replacement of conduit, transformer replacement and other miscellaneous items. + Repair and modify complex electronic equipment or install and maintain various types of signal control equipment working from drawings and schematics. + Perform test, preventative maintenance and make repairs as required on fire alarm system and related equipment including electronic door control locks. + Operate, repair and calibrate a variety of testing equipment such as volt meters, audio generators, line voltage tracers and other electronic testing equipment. + Maintain, repair and install any and all types of appliances and machinery. Examples: washers, dryers, kitchen equipment, televisions, radios, record players, clocks and cctv type equipment. + Make new installations, change, or repair all electronic and or electrical circuits. Examples: door alarms, hinge alarms, intercom systems, fire alarms, security systems and lighting systems. + Read blueprints and schematic drawings of wiring systems. + Other related duties as required.
