Electronic Test Technician - Afternoons - M-Thur. (4X10)

We boldly go. **Position Description** § The Electronics Test Technician will support operations through processes – test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies of printed circuit boards, ensure compliance to regulating authorities, meeting engineering specifications, and protecting our customers. **Essential Job Functions** § Test complex electronic printed circuit boards § Maintain high level of board quality and throughput from test area § Troubleshoot failed assemblies/test equipment and work with manufacturing engineering as needed § Work with inspection rework team members on failed printed circuit boards § Provide feedback and assist as needed on development of test procedures § Provide input on continuous improvement on test processes § Follow safety procedures § Ability to follow written and oral instructions § Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules work instructions, standard work, etc. § Ability to meet short and long term deadlines § Ability to effectively present information to other team members both written and verbally § Effectively meet the needs to internal and external customers (completion of daily schedule) § Supports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives § Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements § Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement § Ability to function and thrive in a team environment and independently § Ability to follow and execute standard work § Ability to multi task § Maintain clean and orderly work area § Ability to read and interpret schematics § Models Trane Technologies values in the workplace § Conduct process audits and participate in making needed improvements. § Supports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives § Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements § Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement **Education, Experience & Skills** § High Scholl diploma or GED required § Two (2) year Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent preferred § Minimum of 6 months of experience in electronics/printed circuit board field preferred § Work schedule flexibility. § Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including business acumen and understanding assembly operations. § Ability to collaborate and support various teams to achieve desired outcome. § Trane Technologies Values and Core Competencies: § Willingness to change, flex and learn § Self-motivated § Teamwork § Work Pride § Innovative § Customer Focused § Critical Thinking § Basic Computer Skills § Standard Work Adherence **Physical Requirements** § Lifting up to 35 pounds § Standing for long periods of time.
