**Job Title: Electronics Assembler**
**Job Description**
The Assembler will rotate between various lines including fingertip, hand-held, tabletop, kit build, and regional. This role involves performing tap soldering and snap assembly of medical devices, adhering to detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements as per the Nonin Quality System is essential. The Assembler will also complete all administrative functions related to business or regulatory needs, report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to management, and provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions is a key part of this role. Assemblers may infrequently perform assembly on other assembly lines as needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform tap soldering and snap assembly of medical devices.
+ Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
+ Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Nonin Quality System.
+ Complete all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements.
+ Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to management.
+ Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
+ Occasionally perform assembly on other assembly lines as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of soldering experience.
+ Experience in medical or electronic assembly.
+ High attention to detail.
+ Ability to solder under a magnifying glass on small parts.
+ Good written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to frequently sit, stand, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
+ Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
+ Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.
+ Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Medical device manufacturing experience.

**Work Environment**
Medical device manufacturing environment with about 50 production people. Candidates must be comfortable working on a rotating manufacturing line, moving backwards on the line at every break to work at different stations. Work in a cleanroom environment. 1st shift hours are 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Thursday.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
