Job Title: Electronics Assembler/Solderer

Job Description

The majority of the role will revolve around soldering wires to complete assembly. The work is very straightforward and requires someone who is comfortable with repetitive tasks. This role also requires strong hand dexterity and the ability to hold large clamps to piece together the framing of the electronics.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble electronics and other subassemblies using tooling and equipment (solder and weld), following work instructions and control plans.Follow company safety requirements and precautions.Identify nonconforming parts and/or work; stop the work when non-conformances are believed to exist; use the Incident Reporting (IR) process as required; follow up on corrective actions within 30 days.Perform inspection and product testing.Follow shipping procedures and complete delivery receiving records.Assist quality in responding to procedure change notices and keeping training records current.Assist lab operations with delivery of samples, calibration, and equipment.Other duties as assigned by the production leadership team.Essential SkillsSolderingWire bondingElectronics assemblySmall parts assemblyReading and interpreting schematicsProductionElectronics testingAbility to read and interpret work instructions in EnglishAbility to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience in a small parts assembly or electronics roleStrong hand dexterity and ability to hold large clampsAdditional Skills & QualificationsITAR compliant documentationWork Environment & Schedule

You will be working on a small production floor at a workbench.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm, with some overtime as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
