Joining Collins Aerospace isn’t just about finding a job; it’s about embarking on a journey to redefine the future of aerospace technology.  Our Riverside, CA location is hiring for an onsite Electronics & Electrical Maintenance Worker – 2nd Shift.  In this exciting role, you will perform the installation, maintenance, repair and calibration of electronic and electrical systems and equipment.

You will be working 2nd shift hours (3:00pm- 11:30pm M-F) You will be part of the IAM Local 964 union.

What You Will Do: 

Install, maintain, test, trouble shoot, repair, perform operational checks, and calibrate electronic and electrical equipment such as machines, recording and controlling equipment, X-ray, numerically controlled machines, transformers, welding generators and electrical motors where cause of malfunction, method of installation, maintenance/repair can be determined by previous shop practice or manufacturer-supplied information.Diagnose, trouble shoot, pinpoint cause of malfunction, and determine advisability of repair or replacement and the best and safest method of restoring proper operation.Perform mechanical operations incidental to the dismantling, disassemble, repair and installation of electronic or electrical equipment and components.Conduct operational tests on machines, electrical motors, CNC controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens), PLC knowledge, machine guarding, and perform calibration as required.Interpret drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties including circuitry, schematics, and single line diagrams.Must be able to meet color vision requirements. Must be able to climb and work at various heights.Preform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

HS Diploma, or GED, with a minimum of 4 years of electronic and electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62Experience in maintenance, repair, service, installation, modification, troubleshooting, inspection, and monitoring of medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems and associated industrial electrical equipment is required.

Qualifications We Prefer: 

C-10 license and/or California state certification.5 to 7 years of electronic and electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Ability to work in a team environment, communicate effectively, problem solve, and follow written and verbal instructions.Experience with CNC controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens), PLC knowledge, machine guarding, and perform calibration is nice to have.

The salary range for this role is $23.69 per hour to $50.61 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
