Actalent is seeking an experienced Electronics or Electrical Engineer to join the product development team and participate in the creation of cutting-edge products for the fire protection industry. The role has a strong electrical focus with some additional software capabilities – a successful candidate will be a member of the team that has ownership of electrical, PCBA, and controls design for the full suite of the clients products. They will apply their knowledge of the principles of electrical and systems engineering to create electrical system designs and will have experience with the process of integrating hardware and software to create functional products.- Minimum of 5 years of experience with electrical systems (AC & DC) and embedded system design, testing of electronic circuitry, and bringing designs into production- Analyze and translate requirements into electrical systems architecture, hardware designs, and interface specifications.- Generate documentation such as electrical schematics, PCBA designs, technical communications, reports, change notices, and other relevant technical documentation.- Coordinate or perform PCB prototype construction and PCB bring-up, as well as track project progress and report status and projected timelines to management.- Follow appropriate design practices and departmental procedures for design control and regulatory compliance.- Test and validate designs to ensure systems meet operational and functional requirements.- Design, review, and check product Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and test procedures for implementation into Manufacturing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00
