Electronics Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

As an EE Engineer, you will leverage your unique skills to design, specify, and validate complex electrical and electronic systems for heavy-duty, off-highway vehicles. These systems act as a neural network, ensuring reliable power distribution, logic, and communication for world-class vehicle designs.

Your Role:

Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.Use Creo 3D modeling software and Routed Systems Designer to develop wiring schematics, harnesses, and electronic components.Ensure compliance with various regulations and standards across multiple regions and markets.Select and design components with a focus on function, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.Collaborate with suppliers and various engineering groups within the organization.Work closely with controls and software engineers to communicate design implications and requirements.Utilize multimeters, oscilloscopes, CAN tools, and proprietary programming tools for design, validation, and interrogation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.3 years of relevant industry engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with off-highway or automotive vehicles.Knowledge of vehicle electronic, hydraulic, and powertrain systems.Experience with electric vehicles and Human-Machine Interfaces.Familiarity with Controller Area Networks (CAN), such as SAE J1939.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.67/hr.
