Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Electronics Engineer. In this role, you will:
• Perform manufacturing liaison engineering
• Lead the operation & maintenance of ground
support equipment
• Perform satellite launch processing operations
while undergoing rigorous training for and
becoming a certified test conductor (CTC)
• Perform test procedures development &
execution
• Lead fault isolation and troubleshooting efforts
• Act as test engineer for electronic/electrical
payload processing, cable/chassis/console
assembly per engineering drawings, etc.
• Communicate well and work with technicians,
quality inspectors, and various engineering
disciplines (quality, safety, design), planners,
management and customers
• Perform daily duties as required such as
production support, technical & status briefings,
trade studies, prepare technical analysis/reports,
failure analysis and occasional electrical/electronics design

GFES (Ground & Flight
Engineering Solutions) is seeking an Electrical/Electronics
Engineer to support satellite assembly, test &
launch processing, electronics equipment
assembly & test and operations & maintenance
(O&M) of ground support equipment (GSE). You
will provide engineering support to the Ground
Operations group to accomplish assembly,
integration & test of electronic/electrical ground
and flight subsystems and systems.

The GFES Program performs satellite
launch processing operations, ground systems
assembly integration & test (AI&T) as well as
ground support equipment operations &
maintenance (O&M). The primary operating
locations are Santa Maria, CA, Vandenberg AFB,
CA and Sunnyvale, CA.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Travel will be required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college
(Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering
or a related discipline preferred) or equivalent
experience/combined education
• Must be a US citizen
• Candidate selected must have the ability to
obtain a TS/SCI Clearance which is required for
this role
Desired Skills:
• Test procedure writing & test operations
experience, technical presentation, failure
analysis, troubleshooting. Aircraft, missile, rocket
and/or satellite assembly and test experience.
• Experience with CREO and Zuken design tools.
• Able to perform basic electronics test
engineering functions (lead technicians in
assembly, operations and maintenance of ground
systems, perform troubleshooting/fault
detection, failure analysis and corrective
actions).
• Must have the ability to work in teams, climb
stairs, work in factory & launch site
environments.
• Must be willing to travel, work overtime,
support odd shifts.
• Excellent communications (written, verbal and
presentation) skills are a must.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $55,300 - $106,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,600 - $119,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
