Electronics Hardware Core Engineer        
Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a Electronics Hardware Core Engineer will include:    Compensation (Range):  45-48/ hour Conduct multi-functional activities in development of the requirements of the controllers for electric drive systems • Review circuit design/schematics/layout, EMI reduction, fault tolerance/protection/diagnostic, and ensure on time delivery • Develop control circuit function verification method, conduct function verification test and troubleshooting • Support Root Cause Analysis for field issues • Support other function team’s tests, such as Hardware-in-the-Loop Test, High Voltage Lab test, Motor Dyno Test, Vehicle Test, EMC test, etc. • Support Benchmark activities

Job Requirements
As a Electronics Hardware Core Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience • 2+ years of experience in Electrical and/or electronics design. • 2+ years of experience with simulation tools (e.g. Matlab, Pspice, Saber, etc.) Our preferred qualifications: • Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics or related field • 3+ years of experience in Electrical and/or electronics design. • 3+ years of experience with simulation tools (e.g. Matlab, Pspice, Saber, etc.) • Knowledge of Microcontroller, Power Devices (e.g. MOSFET, Transistor, IGBT, SiC, etc.), Logic IC, High side driver/Low side driver, and SMD passive components • Experience of Power electronics circuit design, such as SMPS design, Gate Drive Circuit design • Knowledge/experience of worst-case circuit analysis. • Knowledge/experience of Power Inverters and motor control • Knowledge of DFMEA/DFSS and accelerated life test • Knowledge of G8D for Root Cause Analysis • Knowledge/experience with automotive electronics and EMC fundamentals • Excellent teamwork and communication skills • Self-motivated with the ability to learn and manage multiple tasks
