BlueHalo is seeking an Electronics Integration and Test Technician who posesses technical skills involving minimal supervision working on hardware integration and testing efforts. Hands-on experience and expertise inspecting parts, operating ordinary electronics test equipment, working in clean rooms, organizing and running a laboratory, and knowledge of ESD is required. Requires experience with CCA level testing, system integration, and environmental testing.

You’d like to do this

• Support the test of Grade 1 hardware for space applications within the SpaceTech organization
• Provide the skills required to accomplish the operations associated with the test of electronic circuit boards in accordance with test procedures utilizing common electronics test equipment.
• Support the testing of integrated systems utilizing STE and environmental test equipment in support of Space Product testing
• Position consists of applying established policies and procedures to perform detailed design validation of space electronic systems.
• Performs electronic module and systems testing/validation in accordance with hardware unique procedures
• Perform integration and testing of space electronic systems and subsystems.
• Responsible for detailed design realization and verification tasks.
• Responsible for compliance to QMS processes.
• Prepare and execute procedures, reports, or data acquisition as assigned
• Perform moderate physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, bending, continuous standing
• Assist engineers and other technicians
• Perform all other duties as assigned

You’re required to have this

Required Education and Experience

Familiarity with processes and methods used in the setup, checkout and testing of electronics systems. 8 years minimum experience. Knowledge of computers and office productivity software. Effective technical communication skills both verbal and written. Able to work in a team environment both within the organization and with the customer.Experience with the generation and execution of step-by-step process logging as directed by a work travelerAbility to understand and adhere to in-process ESD mitigation techniques Ability to read and understand both basic assembly instructional documentation as well as Engineering drawings depicting final configurations through the use of annotations and drawing notesMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD clearance 

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.Familiarity with processes and methods used in the setup, checkout and testing of electronics systems.

Work Environment

This job operates in professional/secure office & laboratory environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines and other equipment as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are nominally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shift work will be required

 

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day.
