SUMMARY
Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, personal and main frame computers, and terminals, industrial, medical, measuring, controlling equipment and industrial robotic devices. Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions. Replaces components, wiring circuits. Repairs simple electronic equipment. Takes test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers and oscilloscopes. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated experience. Formal Technical training as an Electronics Technician (Military Specialist Training or Civilian Equivalent). High School diploma or equivalent. Demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as an Electronics Technician. Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Ability to multi-task
