Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician, where you'll operate semiconductor-processing equipment in a cleanroom environment. Your role will be crucial in meeting daily production goals and supporting cleanroom fabrication operations. Key areas of focus include photolithography (both coat/develop and pattern exposure), pattern transfer via wet and dry etching techniques, substrate cleaning using wet chemistry, metrology, and other semiconductor processes.
ResponsibilitiesOperate manually- or computer-controlled equipment to achieve production and quality targets.Set up and operate complex manual and computer-controlled equipment.Collaborate effectively with team members to process wafers and optical components.Utilize computer software to monitor operational performance and make minor adjustments to enhance productivity.Adhere to quality management procedures and identify any quality issues.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.High school diploma or GED.Ability to perform light lifting and carrying duties, and to sit and/or stand for extended periods (3-5 hours).Experience using microscopes.Manual dexterity.Willingness to learn.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment.Experience in electronics assembly.Computer proficiency.Experience with microscopes, soldering, and circuit boards.Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and components.Work EnvironmentEmployees will wear a head-to-toe cleanroom 'bunnysuit' and periodically handle up to 1 gallon of chemicals (acid/base/solvents) while wearing personal protective equipment.Duties are performed in a cleanroom environment requiring special garments, including cleanroom suits, hoods, shoe covers, and gloves.Shifts are 6am-6pm/6pm-6am with guaranteed 8 hours of overtime pay every other week.Three 30-minute breaks are provided, with options to combine breaks for a longer lunch period.The facility includes a cafeteria and a breakroom with small lunch/snack choices.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $24.15
