Electronics Repair Technician
**Job Title: Repair Technician** **Job Description** Candidates in this position will primarily be responsible for repairs and rework for customers. If a customer is having an issue with a product, it gets sent back and this employee will troubleshoot, identify the problem, and repair the product. **Responsibilities** + Test and repair all products as directed by the Group Leader. + Perform final tests on products per written final test instructions ensuring acceptable quantity levels with 100% quality. + Troubleshoot circuit boards and repair failed units down to component level. + Enter defect data into the appropriate defect database. + Ensure quality control by making adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications and rejecting products outside of specifications. + Maintain records and documentation. + Adhere to ESD requirements and safety rules. + Participate in cross-training as needed and adhere to the quality system standards pertaining to the job. **Essential Skills** + Experience with SMT, electronics, repair, assembly, and troubleshooting. + Good computer skills (Windows), ERP, and Document Control System experience preferred. + Two-year degree in Electronics or equivalent experience. + One to three months of related experience and/or training. + Knowledge of Lean Principles. + Ability to read and interpret documents/electronic schematics/mechanical assembly drawings and write routine reports in English. + Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with ERP and Document Control Systems is preferred. **Why Work Here?** This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress your career. Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 5AM-1:30PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $22.50/hr.
