We are seeking an Electronics Security Systems Technician 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Clearance/Citizen Type: Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

What you’ll do:
In this role you will be responsible for performing skilled technical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and testing of access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, public address, and intercom systems, devices, and related hardware and software.
Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:
Installing, configuring, maintaining, repairing and testing: Electronic Door Locks Access Card Readers Door Position Switches Request-to-Exit Devices Passive & Active Motion Sensors Video Surveillance (IP) Cameras Audio (IP) Speakers and Two-Way Intercoms Device Firmware and System Applications ·Performing visual inspections, physical evaluations, and inventory. Troubleshooting and isolating issues. Correcting malfunctions to restore the conformance of the system and equipment to established standards. Performing quarterly preventative maintenance on all electronic systems and devices. Responding to phone, email, voice mail, verbal and written work orders. Issuing and tracking work orders and work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of service issues. Responding to phone, email, voice mail, verbal and written work orders. Reading and interpreting technical schematics, wiring diagrams, design drawings, and blueprints. Maintaining records and files (both hard copy and computer), compiling data, and generating reports. Logging time, material information, material orders, and other work-related records. Conducting research and analyzing test measurements. Identifying and recommending system expansion, modification, and replacement. Attending meetings, workshops, training, and/or seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information and knowledge required to perform job functions. Performing work with minimal supervision. Performing other related duties as assigned.Key Requirements:
Requires a Valid driver's license This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy. May be requested to assist in emergency situations after hours, weekends, and/or holidays. Education: HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activitiesRequired Progressive Experience:
6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs 3+ years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems Possess good knowledge and understanding of basic electronics fundamentals, components, and formulas. Possess strong experience and knowledge in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Communicate effectively with strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills. Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
Vendor certifications in multiple access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems. Experience configuring and maintaining access control and video surveillance applications such as Software House CCure 9000, Geutebrück G-Core/G-Sim, Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) Remote Link, or similar preferred.What we offer:

Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time. Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance. Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
