Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job DescriptionBuild, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical assemblies per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standardsAssist in performing engineering tests for the purpose of data collection and evaluationDiagnose problems in assembly and schematic drawings and recommend changesDetermine technical accuracy, operation, and proper sequencing of test proceduresProvide technical support to customers, including identifying and correcting specific customer problemsProvide technical reports consisting of relevant test procedures and resultsPerform tests in accordance with test proceduresDocument testing and record test resultsTroubleshoot and correct malfunctions at the component and subassembly levelSolder various components to PCB AssembliesWire and solder prototypes and other complex assemblies of unique or unusual design per applicable specificationsAssemble chassis components using a variety of hardwareAssemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware

Hard SkillsIntermediate level in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print for mid-level to complex assembliesAbility to operate electronic test equipment specifically including oscilloscopes, function generators, and digital volt metersAbility to read measurement and calibration tools and instrumentsStrong technical writing and documentation skillsSoldering skills that meet IPC-A-610 Class 2Soft SkillsAbility to work in a high volume, high detail work environmentAbility to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality resultsAbility to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardizationJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
