Electronics Technician
**Electronics Technician** **Job Description** + Performs technical functions supporting engineering activities. + Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. + Works from documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and plans, often requiring interpretation and application of comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles. + Applications may include analog, digital, and/or video circuits and logic systems. + Conducts testing in a development mode and determines methods or actions to correct malfunctions or design problems. + Recommends modifications to engineering designs as necessary. + May assist in the design, construction, test, and checkout of test equipment. + Normally assigned in areas such as development, engineering, test equipment, system checkout, fabrication, and the like. **Responsibilities** + Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems. + Work from documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and plans. + Interpret and apply comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles. + Conduct testing in a development mode and determine methods or actions to correct malfunctions or design problems. + Recommend modifications to engineering designs as necessary. + Assist in the design, construction, test, and checkout of test equipment. **Essential Skills** + Electronics knowledge + Troubleshooting + Test equipment utilization + System level troubleshooting skills + Mechanical assembly + Proficiency in using Excel + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Ability to lift 30-50 lbs **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of related experience + Minimum education requirement of High School diploma or equivalent **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
