Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. This role involves testing, debugging, and repairing PCBs, as well as maintaining electronic equipment and test fixtures. You will provide technical assistance across various internal departments, troubleshoot electronic component issues, and work with third-party inspectors. Additionally, you will assist in the production of test jigs, generate test procedures, and ensure all repairs and inspections meet the appropriate quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesTest (physical & visual), debug, and repair PCBsRepair and maintain electronics equipment and test fixturesProvide technical assistance to other internal departmentsTroubleshoot electronic component issuesWork with third-party inspectorsAssist production in building test jigs and other toolsAssist in the generation of test proceduresReplace components and repair circuit boardsInspect to appropriate quality standardsEssential Skills2 years of experience working with PCBsExperience in PCB assembly and test proceduresProficiency in PCB reworkKnowledge of SMT and through-hole techniquesAbility to inspect PCBsExperience in replacing electronic components and discrete componentsSkill in circuit board repairsAbility to read and understand schematics and BOMsFamiliarity with IPC 7711/7721, J-STD-001, and A-610 standardsUnderstanding of circuitryAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in PCB inspectionKnowledge in PCB testingUnderstanding of IPC 610 standardsWork Environment
This position is 100% onsite, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. Enjoy a 4-day work week, having every Friday off. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
