Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electronic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems in government vehicles and JEA cars. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive electronics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair electronic systems in government vehicles and JEA cars, including but not limited to, electrical wiring, control modules, and communication systems.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electronic components to ensure optimal performance and safety.Work with 12-volt electronic systems commonly found in vehicles.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and repair electronic issues.Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve electronic issues.Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to provide comprehensive vehicle care.Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.Stay updated with the latest automotive electronic technologies and repair techniques.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to ensure a clean driving record.

Daily Duties:

Conduct daily inspections of electronic systems in vehicles to identify potential issues.Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as checking battery health, testing electrical circuits, and updating software.Troubleshoot and repair any electronic malfunctions reported by drivers or identified during inspections.Document all maintenance and repair activities in the company's database.Communicate with team members and supervisors about ongoing projects and any issues that arise.Order and manage inventory of electronic parts and tools.Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
